Web Site Data Collection Practices

A visitor to the CreditInvest™ site is not asked to reveal any individually identifiable information in order to use or view the site.  Information about visitors is indirectly accumulated through normal web logs, including IP addresses, web browsers and domains.  The information is used as a tool to improve services and track the sites functionality and ease of use. There may be the ability to trace individuals through the site and we reserve the right to do so only when pursuing a case of improper or illegal use.

In order to register as a new user, we may also collect credit card information through the web site to buy products and/or services.  Existing customers visit the web site with IDs and passwords already assigned. Others who register at the site are asked to provide standard contact information, such as name, mailing and email addresses, and telephone numbers.  Visitors/Users may choose to submit business profile information in order to regesiter as both a user and enter the database. The information submitted becomes a part of the CreditInvest™ database.  Being a registered user offers benefits to businesses, such as reduce report pricing and access to otherwise unacessable information.

Through our web site, we provide opportunities for users to register, run request reports, report payment histories and view account status.  Through the site they may also receive other sales or promotional information, products and services about CreditInvest™ that interest them. Users may be asked to provide some company and personal contact information (e.g., name, mailing address, email address, telephone and fax number) that will be used to provide information about various products and services.

Access and Correction

CreditInvest™ has developed a system to allow a registered user to request a correction to a record online. In order to do so users may contact changerequest@creditinvest.com.  Credit Invest also will allow non registered businesses to request clarification or dispute a record at informationdispute@creditinvest.com.  The process involves verification through the reporting parties and the decision may take up to 60 days.
